Description
On a dark blue field trimmed with white/silver rims, between a red wavy shape at the top and bottom a gold/yellow lyre surmounted by a white mascle fimbriated yellow with the image of the United States Army Japan shoulder sleeve insignia within, behind two crossed green palm fronds, and below the images of the streamers for the Army Superior Unit Award 2011 and the Western Pacific Campaign participation credit and arching above and turning at the ends behind the palms a red scroll inscribed UNITED STATES ARMY JAPAN BAND in dark blue letters.

Symbolism
Red, white and dark blue are the National Colors and the colors of the Adjutant Generals Corps under which bands are organized.  The wavy and palm fronds reflect the units campaign participation in the Western Pacific in World War II during which it was designated the 96th Coast Artillery Band.  The current insignia is also used in the designs.  The lyre is an ancient musical symbol and connotes the bands mission.

The band regalia were authorized on 23 December 2014.
